Based in Berkshire, our clinic offers genuine traditional Chinese medicine — both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine — delivered by a practitioner trained to doctor level in China and drawing on a quarter of a century of patient care.
Acupuncture Berkshire is led by Dr (TCM) Attilio D'Alberto, a fully qualified doctor of traditional Chinese medicine with over 25 years of clinical practice. Graduating with a BSc (Hons) from Beijing University in China in 2004, Dr D'Alberto practises full TCM acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine — the same system of medicine used in Chinese hospitals, not weekend-course acupuncture.
He is a registered member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), the leading professional body for acupuncture in the UK, and has treated thousands of patients across Berkshire over the course of his career.
Authentic Chinese acupuncture rooted in classical pulse and tongue diagnosis, shaped by current clinical research. Precise, restorative and calming.
Targeted treatment for back, neck and knee pain, sciatica, headaches, migraines and arthritis — an approach supported by NICE guidance.
Dedicated fertility care spanning natural conception, IVF cycles, PCOS, endometriosis and male-factor infertility.
Help for anxiety, insomnia, IBS, menopausal symptoms, allergies, thyroid imbalance and many other everyday complaints.
Rather than treating one symptom in isolation, TCM acupuncture reads the whole picture of your health. Where a conventional consultation often narrows down to a single diagnosis, this approach maps how physical, emotional and constitutional patterns connect to produce what you are actually experiencing.
That makes it especially well suited to the complex, long-standing and overlapping conditions that a single-label approach so often struggles to resolve.
Dr (TCM) D'Alberto earned his qualification through a demanding five-year full-time degree at Beijing University, one of the world's leading institutions for traditional Chinese medicine. It is training on a par with a medical degree, pairing classical theory with years of supervised clinical practice.
Since 2004 he has practised in Berkshire, treating thousands of patients across a full spectrum of conditions. He is also the published author of My Fertility Guide and My Pregnancy Guide.
